Zoltar graced us with his presence outside Gem Spa starting on Sept. 23, 2012 (as seen in the above photo).
And Zoltar hadn't really looked the same since his glass was bashed by a skateboard in April 2013 here on Second Avenue at St. Mark's Place… the replacement glass didn't carry the ZOLTAR name…
Now, though! Yesterday, the ZOLTAR SPEAKS lettering returned!
See?!
Though given how vocal Zoltar can be, is the SPEAKS part necessary?

...I too remember being a child, expressing my fear of the future with a psuedo-hatred of all things Zoltar.....
...what you will discover as you mature (or at least, grow-UP) is that....

Zoltar says that if the people of the East Village don't start paying attention and getting active over the rent control battle now going on in Albany many more will no longer be able to call the neighborhood home. You have been warned and Zoltar don't play.
How dare anyone even think of getting rid of ZOLTAR, a fine and upstanding representative of the EV! This neighborhood has already lost enough locals and interesting establishments. ZOLTAR can stay and let the opposition move to the upper east side where they belong, or some other sanitized pristine neighborhood.
Now that Zoltar now has his oil lamp AND crystal ball, his powers are immeasurable.
I thought the EV Arrows were in the Maldives?
