Using graffiti to attract buyers for the million-dollar condos along Avenue A

Earlier this month, details emerged about developer Douglas Steiner's incoming residential building (rendering above) along Avenue A between East 11th Street and East 12th Street.
For instance, condos in the 82-unit building — officially 438 E. 12th St. — will start at $1.1 million for a 1-bedroom home. And the building amenities include a 50-foot-long pool, a spa, a gym, a library, a playroom, parking and a landscaped courtyard and rooftop gardens.
There's also a teaser site where potential buyers can learn more info about the project.
The development's marketing team also decided to go the graffiti route in advertising the official website along the plywood on Avenue A...
So...

Urgh. Hate them already. Was so nice to have open space on that corner where the flea market was, and the old historic church. Not to mention the big mural on the wall over the corner lot for the school that featured Father Keith Richards...the priest always looked amazingly like him to me, anyway...
Listening to their construction symphony now, a bit avant garde, but hey that's the EV...
At least they're not calling them "luxury".
Real estate marketers seem to have a very limited vocabulary.
The owners will be a lot less happy about graffiti when high commercial rent keeps a tenant from the ground floor and real graffiti starts springing up.

Let's see how long they keep "real" graffiti on this building once it has been built.
Cultural karaoke
The grafitti ad is sort of lame because you know they won't want grafitti when the building opens. But the ad is cost effective and it does the job. You are getting 82 units of million dollar plus condo owners moving in. How will that change the neighborhood? A 50' pool, really? For 82 units?
Can't wait to meet my new neighbors.

Shit upon shit. Everything about this place. Clueless landlords. Almost laughable. I hope somebody from the neighborhood bombs (paints over) this ASAP.
Hope they keep having a flea market here—at least on Sundays—once the building is built.

Oh Gojira you will never meet the people who move in there because they won't actually live there, their Airbnb renters will, and if they do actually degrade themselves to live there, they won't socialize with the likes of you and me. I never met a single person who moved into either of the two new buildings on my block.
I live right across from their new parking lot. I can't wait from the to put in all those new trees, and repave the street. I wonder what the high school is going to do with that big pile of trash that usually sits there??
