Exile Above 2A, the second-level space at 2A, is launching Movie Night Monday... starting tonight at 8 with a free screening of "The Boondock Saints" with Norman Reedus and Willem Dafoe from 1999.
This is great! I am turned off when bars like to play up to a sophisticated environment by projecting movies with no sound on a wall. I applaud the initiative to actually showcase the films and for FREE, bless!
I was curious if they were going to project the film on the brick wall across 2nd Street like they used to for these movie nights... I didn't hear back about it, though. As I recall, they had to stop this practice a few years ago...

I have always thought it was cool how 2A projects the films across the street, I have never gone up to watch one though....
I dont understand the persistence of Boondock Saints? How did people ever like this movie, much less want to see it again 15 years later?
2A did this years ago!! Albeit Saturday nights, I remember watching "Young Frankenstein" one night back in the early 90's. Good to see it back again!!

It's a St. Patrick's Day themed movie night: bros, Irish or not lurve this. I guess no one has returned or been kind to rewind The Commitments.
