Nearly 300 students and teachers from the Earth School on Sixth Street and Avenue B marched to Tompkins Square Park this morning as a show of support for public education...
The students were chanting, "Say it loud say it clear, public schools are welcome here" ...

My daughter goes to this wonderful school. I'm very proud of all of these students for voicing their views on their education.... Way to go
DINO (Democrat In Name Only) Joe Manchin (D-WV) voted to confirm Betsy DeVos.
This scumbag also voted to confirm Jeff Sessions and Scott Pruitt, so anyone out there who knows anyone in West Virginia, tell him/her to either force him into a primary or vote against him in one.
Proud of you, Earth School students! A healthy democracy depends on strong public schools.
I guess it's part of their civics education but it seems a little manipulative to me. I doubt the six year olds dreamed this up.
