Bluemercury rising on 3rd Avenue
Bluemercury, the luxury beauty retailer and spa, is ready to open on the southwest corner of Third Avenue and 13th Street.
Workers yesterday were spotted hoisting the BM signage...
The company has 120-plus locations nationwide. Among other brands, BM sells Kiehl's products, which has its flagship location on the northeast corner of Third Avenue and 13th Street.
Gothic Cabinet Craft shop closed in January 2016 after 47 years in business at this spot.

The upper east side now extends to 13th street.
Luxury luxury luxury luxury luxury luxury luxury... anyone else sick of the word luxury yet? For me, it's a deterrent.
Who needs it?
You mean "luxury", as in high prices for the S.O.S.; I give it a year.
Attention NYU parents: Your kids will need more of your $$$ to indulge themselves here.
There is little to stop the lux-ing of the EV but we can still prevent it from becoming the official "spring break" and "santa-con all year bro" NYC neighborhood by fighting to keep more bars from opening.
As you may be aware, "BM" is also used when abbreviating bowel movement.
One time, during the beginning of fall semester, I was at Trader Joe's checkout line, and the girl, a college student, in front of me was in the phone with her mom asking to send her $500, saying "But it's so expensive here Mom!"
So tru dat, 2:26 p.m.
