Ben Shaoul's Luminaire on 23rd Street and 1st Ave. looks like a total bust. They used to have a ton of trash outside the building back when It was a rental. After the condo conversion there are just a handful of bags a week The place is dark at night and the doorman looks lonely. They laid off some staff and rebranded the building. Still no takers for these undersized former rental apartments on a very noisy corner. Three other new condos nearby filled up right away. I predict it may soon be time to sell it off to NYU for another dorm.
BTW, Sara at B-Side makes one of the best bloody mary's in the EV. I'm glad she's back!
Crap. Little tong already had a line around the block.
