ooh, that's not gonna be good for business.
Oh, no! Where will I go for coffee now? Are there any other coffeeterias in the EV???
It's difficult to picture how a Starbucks of all places could run afoul of sanitary measures, since so much of the food is either boiled on-spot, packaged, or powdery-dry... I consider this an impressive feat
Brian,
It might because of the poop *in* the coffee. Not kidding.

Thanks to anonymous for the Doody in Coffee info.
So... how does it get in there - no one washes their hands ?
With all of the coffee shops within blocks that have way better coffee, who even goes there?
There is Saltwater on 12th st and 1st ave. They are way better than Starbucks! :)
The money shot from that article is:
"We’re basically bathed in feces as a society."
I think it has something to do with millennials who believe that hand washing is oppressive. Also they take their iPhones into the bathrooms and poop gets all over their phones and later they touch their phones and transfer fine poo particles to the ice scoops, etc. Elementary.
In the word of Monty Burns...."Excellent."
Why is there one commissioner for both health AND mental hygiene? Each is a monumental task if you think about it. This is like Trump putting Kushner in charge of making Middle east peace AND solving the American opioid crisis.
Anyone remember The Great Taco Bell KFC Rat Invasion Of 2007? LOL @ the location in an ultra-prime spot of real estate (6th Avenue between W.3rd and W.4th Sts.)( being shut down by a pack of rats - GO RATS! :)
Shitbucks Coffee
Poopbucks Coffee
Turdbucks Coffee
Crapbucks Coffee
"millennial think hand washing is oppressive" LMAO where do you come up with this
I think they might have gotten a lot of mice from all the demolition happening right next to the hospital on 13th and 2nd. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the apartments in between have more mice than usual too. Still, there's no excuse for not ensuring that the mice are not dealt with (with some kind of corporate protocol) or at least that the consumable products are protected from contamination.
