For some reason still remember John Peel playing this on Radio 1 in the UK for the first time and saying, "Siouxsie & the Banshees, back in mid-season form."
Brit goth punk never really did it for me though I am a big fan of the early Damned and was lucky enough to see them at Harrahs (uptown) 1979 with openers, the Misfits, who to this day seemed to be the loudest band I've ever heard. From that era i more of a Wire and PIL fan both of who, still tour and make great records, esp Wire's late output.
