A case of mistaken rat identity on the lawn in Tompkins Square Park

Today's video short comes from the main lawn in Tompkins Square Park, where the other day a young woman chased a rat, thinking that it was hers ... only to (spoiler!) discover a case of mistaken identity: This actually wasn't her rat!

Rat should be on a leash!

Kidding...however, letting your pet rat run around in the home of 4 hungry hawks is asking for trouble.

This is precisely why I don't bathe in the sun on a towel in this area. Rats. And other items and litter. Too much sand and not enough grass. Not sanitary either. No thanks.

You forgot Roundup™; every blade of grass in the city parks is treated with glyphosate, which has been found to be a carcinogen.

RE: Scuba Diva "every blade of grass in the city is treated with glyphosate"
That makes no sense. Glyphosate is a plant killer. If every blade of grass was treated with glyphosate, there would be no grass.

TSP has banned RoundUp for at least 2 years, thanks to community activism
