Ha! I feel this has been some sort of secret contest, who in the neighborhood can hold on to their Christmas tree the longest. What a riot!
How did they keep this one still green the whole time?! Fascinating
@Anonymous 10:31AM -- Grieve used to hold a "contest" for the latest-ditched tree.The judge, Of course, was always abroad/out of town/indisposed and could not fully officiate and reward a prize.But the contest itself was gripping.
