Earlier this year, the official Black Sabbath Facebook page posted a Fillmore East program and ticket stub from the band's February 1971 performance at the venue, located on Second Avenue at Sixth Street, during the Paranoid tour.
A $5.50 ticket got you into see the show, which included the J. Geils Band.
The Fillmore East was open from March 8, 1968, to June 27, 1971.
Thanks for all the head bangers, Ozzy...

Ozzy co-wrote the Motörhead song Hellraiser. On the same album he sang on the song Ain’t No Nice Guy. Much love to Ozzy & Lemmy.
Thanks for putting me on to that track. Very cool!
I saw Black Sabbath at Madison Square Garden on December 3rd, 1975. Aerosmith opened. Sadly, Black Sabbath was terrible that night and got heavily booed. Tony Iommi got hit in the forehead with a full cab of beer. Ozzy verbally went off on the crowd and that made things even worse. So goes life.
