Photos by Stacie Joy
Thousands of demonstrators marched peacefully along Seventh Avenue from 47th Street to 14th Street yesterday as part of the nationwide "No Kings" rallies protesting President Trump's policies and agenda.
EVG's Stacie Joy took these photos along 14th Street, from Seventh Street to between Avenue A and Avenue B, where the NYPD had a large staging area for mass arrests that never occurred. An NYPD official told us there weren't any protest-related arrests, which the NYPD News account confirmed this in a post.

Good job everyone.
DC = District of Crime
This one was pretty funny:
"They're eating the checks They're eating the balances"
Don’tcallmebro - that one made me chuckle, very creative!
Sad when the young ones didn’t get my song quote, “I’m the King of pain…”
I saw one sign that struck a particularly funny chord:
Super
Callous
Fragile
Racist
Sexist
Nazi
POTUS.......
Mary Poppin's would have approved !
Some good repping there from Planet Rose! #IYKYK!
Love to everyone who came out to demonstrate, except that lady with the Dump Zohran sign.
Great pix, Stacey! (And yeah, I'd read about people who feel Zohran is insufficiently pure and righteous, but I'd never actually seen one out in the world before! That kind of belief that no viable candidate is progressive enough is what has led us to our neighbors being rounded up and disappeared, boats in international waters being blown up because SOMEONE claimed there were drug smugglers on them, trans kids suffering, science being gutted, people losing their healthcare, and countless Ukrainians and Palestinians being murdered. But sure, show us how virtuous you are by refraining from voting for the NON-MONSTER candidate and holding out for some impossible better one.
