Tuesday's parting shots

Photos by James Chambers

Up close this morning in Tompkins Square Park with one of the young red-tailed hawks... who is likely just three months old now (!!!)... and dropping hard stares...
As Goggla noted today, the three young hawks are busy exploring the immediate neighborhood... but at least one will still pay a visit...

The others went to hawk college by now, under the careful instructions of Ethan Hawk.

Is there a time of day that one is more likely to see the hawk in the Park? Anyone?
