The 9th Street A-1 Block Association Block Party runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Ninth Street between Avenue A and First Avenue.
Residents and merchants will have items for sale, with the Moody Bastards providing original music, Americana and blues from 2 to 4 p.m., along with special guests.
A block north — and a few avenues west — the 10th Street Block Festival returns between Second and Third Avenues from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Expect vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles, jewelry, books, records and more, plus music from the Larry Luger Quartet.
