"The Holes," the new play by Max Wolf Friedlich, has extended its Off-Broadway run at the wild project, 195 E. Third St. between Avenue A and Avenue B.
After selling out its initial six-week engagement, the production will now continue through Nov. 15. The play, directed by Michael Herwitz, opened Sept. 22 and was named a New York Times Critic's Pick.
The dark comedy is set inside a decaying bar in a rapidly gentrifying upstate town, where a padlocked back room becomes part of a story exploring desire, tradition, progress and community.
