Whoa.
Gothamist is reporting that Max Brenner/Chocolate by the Fat, Bald Guy has closed on Second Avenue and Ninth Street. Hmm...in January,
the Chocolate Bar closed on Seventh Street.
Meanwhile, let's start the pool on what takes over that prime Bald Man space. I'm going
with a Chase bank!P.S.
If you want some sidewalk cafe stuff, then now is your chance. The shop is closed...and things look rather abandoned outside.

I'm not giving up on my FroRam idea!
Wow.
Something tells me $6 donuts probably won't last long...
Someone needs to provide the backing fro FroRam right now!
what's FroRam?
Frozen Ramen! Surely an idea whose time has come.
I support FroRam ONLY if it will be served in cups that I can easily throw onto the sidewalk or street!
nooooooo...... oh wait, i meant, yessssssssss
I hear David Chang knocking
if it'd be froram then it can only be eaten outside St. Mark's Church; it must be stipulated in the contract
P.S. that Union Square location used to be Cheap Jack's -- a vintage used clothing store. Just saying.
I think Chase really needs a branch on three consecutive corners.
I ate their once on a friends recommendation and it completely sucked! Overpriced crappy chocolate served all fancily to try and hide it's blandness..FRO-RAM FRO-RAM!
