My favorite is the middle pic, obviously taken in the mid to late Eighties. The look of anxiety and fear on the couples faces says it all. They look as if they're about to be executed. Too bad we can't make all the bankers and brokers of today feel the same kind of dread.

Those photos need no description, they speak volumes about that horrifyingly beautiful behemoth known as Old New York.
I bought the knife one last year from Conn.HJe was selling them in Union Square.Nice guy.Cool photos.
I hope when I die I get to relive NYC in the 70s!!!
I only hope and pray that when I die I will be able to revisit, recapture and relive all of what NYC was in the 1970s . . every little bit of it.

I feel you Caleo on the middle picture. They are dressed so pristine like yet surrounded by all that loud graffiti. I just love the contrast!
