Vandaag's weiner window opening this weekend
This weekend, over on Second Avenue, Vandaag will start serving sausages out of a takeout window on the restaurant's Sixth Street side, Eater reported yesterday.
As you might expect, the weiners are foodie friendly. Here's the menu, via Eater ...
3 bucks for a hot dog and 4 for sausage ain't bad. Of course a 1 dollar papaya dog will still taste better (wish there was one in the ev), but I'm not gonna get hung up on the soda markup.
what a pompous menu- they are still hot dogs no matter how many artisinal ingredients you pile on them- I'll be at crif dogs, gray's papaya or in the street with a NY famous hot dog with sauerkraut!

noooo!
Sounds like a glory hole for foodies!
$4 for a soda? Are those authentic European prices, or locally sourced artisian ones?
$4 for a soda.... What ever happened to the bakery portion of this place?
