Citi Bike snow removal

[Tuesday night on Lafayette via EVG reader 8E]

Have you wondered who shovels out the docking stations for the Citi Bikes? (If no, then you don't need to keep reading!)

EVG contributor Derek Berg spotted workers clearing the station on East Fourth Street and Second Avenue this morning ... they work for DynaServ out in Maspeth.

Now you know!

A viable form of transportation! Wonder what their numbers were like the past few days?

I'm surprised they aren't using some kind of loud polluting leaf blower type device. Kudos they are actually shoveling. Leafblowers a curse on this earth.

@nygrump - Tuesday evening as the storm got going, the workers at Great Jones and Lafayette were using such a device. It sort of looked like a hot pressure washer.

Thank you Citi VP for the numbers. How about the numbers on those financials. Viable transportation for the tourists and narcissists.

I'm about to buy a shovel and dig out my neighborhood...

When is Citibike going to shovel out the station in front of my building at 301 West 45th Street? The residents are sick and tired of walking over the snow bank and slipping on the ice.

I don't want such kind of snow removal.

Bike riding in the winter is nerve racking to see. I'm always concerned they are going to slip on the ice and slid out in front of a car.
