The brand — known for its all-you-can-eat specials — has 18 locations in California, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada and Texas ... with a handful more in the works.
Community Board 3 OK'd a beer-wine license for the address back in July. (The previous tenant, 5 Napkin Burger, had a full liquor license.) Alcohol is only part of table service — there won't be any bar seating, per CB3 minutes.
The restaurant is taking the former 5 Napkin Burger space as well as the storefront next door that served as the 5 Napkin Express, then Taman Falafel. Those businesses closed at the start of the year.

All you can eat "restaurant" in the EV. It's official American has swallowed Manhattan.
@Noble, do you know the difference between Korea and America? Do you know Korean all you can eat BBQ is a thing across the country? Do you just wake up cranky everyday?
Yeah, this isn't Golden Corral.
I remember several all-you-can-eat places in Chinatown in the 1980s.
Manhattan was annexed by America 21 years ago.
He probably misses the all you can eat sushi that exists in the EV for years already.
Why would you go to an americanized Korean place on 14th st when you could almost as easily get some world class fare on 32nd st. I guess if you have a very big appetite
@ 1:43 it's not Americanized and the brand has a following. People can eat what they feel like eating, no one is forcing them. Just like no one is forcing you.
