East Village Flea happening TODAY

Given the very likely chance of a bonkers storm yesterday afternoon, the organizers of the ongoing East Village Flea decided to postpone yesterday's event until today. 

So! 

The flea marketing will be taking place today (Sunday!) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the east side of First Street and First Avenue. (And they are back this coming Saturday as well.)

A Sunday edition today of the Nexus Flea

The previously rainy forecast for yesterday prompted organizers of the Nexus Flea to move the sale to today (Sunday!)... so you can find the local merchants with vintage clothes, jewelry, records, etc., on First Avenue and First Street from 1-6 p.m.

The next Nexus Flea is scheduled for Oct. 30.

A fall vintage pop-up on 12th Street tomorrow

The East Village Vintage Collective is hosting a fall vintage pop-up outside its shop on 12th Street tomorrow (Saturday!).

From 1-6 p.m., you can find a handful of merchants selling their wares here at 545 E. 12th St. between Avenue A and Avenue B.

Fall classic: Nexus Flea returns to 1st Avenue

The Nexus Flea returns today to First Avenue and Second Street... expect to find vendors selling vinyl records, vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, concert t-shirts and more from 2-6 p.m.

About the Mermaid and Mai Tai Market at Otto's Shrunken Head

Otto's Shrunken Head is hosting a Mermaid and Mai Tai Market today from 5-10 p.m. featuring a variety of vendors selling vintage clothes, art, records, etc.

The rock-n-roll tiki joint is at 538 E. 14th St. between Avenue A and Avenue B... 

Nexus Flea, Labor Day Weekend edition

If you're around this weekend... there's a summer-ending Nexus Flea on First Avenue at First Street tomorrow (Saturday!) ... as always, you can find some art, vintage clothes, jewelry, books and records from local merchants. Noon to 6 p.m.

The Nexus Flea will be on First Avenue and First Street tomorrow (Saturday!) from noon to 6 p.m. ... where you'll find vendors selling vinyl, vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, concert t-shirts and more...

Details on the East Village Swap & Shop on Saturday

The organizers behind Nexus Flea are hosting an East Village Swap & Shop tomorrow. (Saturday!) 

They are billing this as a double event. You can find vendors selling vintage clothes, homemade jewelry, etc., outside 26 First Ave. at Second Street. And across the Avenue at 89 E. Second St., there's a clothing swap. 

Per the Instagram invite ... "How it works: bring clean, gently used clothing (women's or men's) you'd like to donate and take something in exchange from the swap table..." 

Anything left from the swap will be donated to the House of Good Deeds. 

Hours: noon to 6 p.m.

Nexus Flea returns tomorrow in a new (nearby) location

The next East Village Flea (aka Nexus Flea) happens tomorrow (Saturday!) — in a new location! Actually, two locations: The more than 20 local artists and merchants will be selling their wares from the northwest and southeast corners of First Avenue at Second Street.

Organizers said that the Parks Department will no longer let them hold the event on First Street and First Avenue at Peretz Square ... and their request for a permit was denied.

The flea market started on April 3 this year (relive that one here!) ... and they're running every other Saturday for now from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

There's another East Village Flea (aka Nexus Flea) this Saturday (May 1!) on First Street and First Avenue (Peretz Square) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. 

Look for some live music in the afternoon with Raven (2 p.m.) and Robert Leslie (3 p.m.).

At the first East Village Flea of 2021

The first East Village Flea (aka Nexus Flea) is in the books... the nice weather this past Saturday brought out residents who took in live music from the Carvels NYC (above) and Claudi from Pinc Louds (below) ... not to mention the local vendors selling everything from handmade jewelry to Vaccinated t-shirts...

The first flea market of 2021 at First Street and First Avenue (Peretz Square) is tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ...  aside from vintage clothing, handmade jewelry and vinyl rock and soul records, among other items, there will be live music: Claudi from Pinc Louds will play from 2:30 to 4 ...  and the Carvels NYC will be on at 4:30.

It's Day 2 of the holiday market and flea on 1st Avenue and 1st Street

Today marks Day 2 of the holiday market and flea on First Avenue and First Street at Peretz Square from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  ... and it looks like a good day for it with temps expected in the high 50s. You can find a list of participants at the Facebook Events page here.

One last flea market for 2020 at 1st and 1st

There's one more flea market this weekend on First Avenue and First Street at Peretz Square ... this will be a two-day grand finale for the vendors, many of them from the Avenue B Flea.

An EV Pop Up Flea today

Last Avenue B Flea for 2020 is this Saturday

The fourth and final Avenue B Flea for 2020 is coming up on Saturday. Same time and place: Avenue B between 10th Street and 12th Street from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Find the vendor info via the Facebook link.)
