In case you are wondering why a lot of hunky, six-pack-ab types are walking around...More than usual, anyway.

More spring cleaning: (AKA, your next 90 seconds -- planned!)
Hello. The spring cleaning continues. Specifically in the drafts section in the EV Grieve archives, where I continue to be horrified at the half-written posts taking up space. Some of them are just dated. Some of them just weren't quite working. So I posted a few of them anyway. Which explains all the nonsense going on below this post. I said this exact same thing two Fridays ago. I promise not to do this too much longer.
Posts that I never got around to posting: That guy in the purple T-shirt
Ever since I saw these ads for Uniqlo on Suffolk and Houston I have nightmares that I'm forced to go out for speciality cocktails with that guy in the purple T-shirt and he takes me to a secret bar that's under another not-so-secret-anymore bar and no one drinks because they are too busy looking to see if Albert Hammond Jr. will show up, who eventually does and is actually really nice, which disappoints people who want to be ignored by a celebrity then we go to an after-hours party and I'm forced to select the music and everyone is watching me so I pick the Crystal Castles and get laughed at because they are so 2008.

Swatching Chico on Houston and Avenue B
Back in mid-April, we mentioned the space on Houston and Avenue B that was earmarked for Chico...
Well, Chico and company (Tats Cru?) are currently putting up a new mural.... which looks like a Swatch ad...
We'll walk by later for a progress report...when it's a little less congested.

Drew Friedman designs the new label for McSorley's. He says he will be paid with beer. (Via BoingBoing)
