Good riddance. That place was always awful.
You may remember it as East Village Yacht Club which sucked but when it was Chez Asada it was a blast. Good times.
bummer - the closes spot i got to enjoying blue sky bakery goods.
Is the rumor true that CHEZ JEWELS will open here in the new year
But where will the kids from Jersey go to? Sure, you could smoke at home, by its way cooler to drive 20 miles and stand outside a club smoking, yelling at your friends outside a dogy hookah bar, who also can't get in. I'm too young to be this cynical. Already missing the Elephant.
Well I will miss it.... and I'm not from Jersey, nor do I smoke... I just like to shake it!!!
