...and we only heard about this crowdsourcing campaign yesterday... longtime East Village residents Adam Alexander and Leslie Sternbergh Alexander are trying to raise money by selling some of their art collection in return for money to pay for rent... (The income challenges followed Leslie's bout with colon cancer.)

airbnb is great, you get to let rapists and crominals into your building, and let them copy your keys and let them install secret video systems in your apartment. Yup, its a winner.
So glad Le Pavilion is getting the boot. Shameful that Bloomblasio even allowed it to open in the first place, but he has become the Italian version of his predecessor far faster than I could ever have imagined.
I went to Adam and Leslie's Indiegogo page but can't afford to buy any of the art they are selling. Is there a way to make a donation to them? I would love to know more about them. Are they artists? They seem to have quite an art collection.

Most people who want to help probably can't afford to buy a piece of art for $1,000. They ought to find a dealer to sell the art through or maybe even try eBay.
