Clever and well-executed photo. This sculpture reminds me of a much more interesting time in the Village (East AND West) when one could be amused by original Haring drawings in subway passageways, shop for cool shoes on 8th Street, ride the elevator with the small round window at Pearl Paint, score a tolerable apartment share or sublet for a few hundred bucks a month, and still have enough to party until the brink of dawn at Danceteria, The Pyramid, King Tut's, Darinka and one's choice of dive bars (without yelling "Woo Woo" in the streets) before heading to Robots and finishing with a plate of pierogi at the Kiev. Not one for living in the past, but nothing wrong with cherishing the memories.
A picture paints a thousand words. I only wish I had been smart enough to have purchased a few Paintings from certain East Village artists back in those days!

Excellent capture.
Excellent photo.
Great photo, horrible 'art.'
