The sex-house saga on Seventh Street has taken another strange twist.

The Post has been all over the story of Avraham Adler, who allegedly hosted advertised sex parties at the tony townhouse he's renting at 189 E. Seventh St. between Avenue B and Avenue C.

Next came the revelation from the tabloid that Adler "is leading a 'double or triple life' as an ultra-Orthodox Jew with a pregnant wife and three kids in suburban New Jersey."

And now from the Post: On Friday, U.S. Marshals and N.J. Regional Fugitive Task Force members arrested Adler, saying they were executing a Pennsylvania warrant for a probation violation stemming from a fraud conviction.

Bucks County Deputy District Attorney Marc Furber said Adler was convicted in 2017 of misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property in the theft of numerous items from a company called Genesis Diagnostics, and received five years’ probation. This year he was convicted of access device fraud, a felony, for allegedly using the Genesis Diagnostics name “to obtain credit and make substantial purchases.” He was given another five years’ probation to run consecutively to the 2017 sentence.

In a previous Manhattan Supreme Court filing, Wonwoo Chang, the owner of 189 E. Seventh St., claimed that Adler, who signed a two-year lease here on April 1, has hosted "lewd" parties where "on premises sex took place." (Adler also hosted at least one high-brow art party — despite a court order barring further events at the residence.)

Aside from throwing what neighbors said were disruptive parties, he was known to park his fleet of luxury cars in front of a fire hydrant on the block.

The circa-1860 townhouse underwent a gut rehab in recent years, emerging in early 2017 with an ask of $6.25 million.

The Post continues its expose of Avraham Adler, who allegedly hosted advertised sex parties at the tony townhouse he's renting on Seventh Street.

The tabloid claims that he "is leading a 'double or triple life' as an ultra-Orthodox Jew with a pregnant wife and three kids in suburban New Jersey."

“I want a divorce,” an angry Shana Adler told The Post Thursday outside the couple’s modest three-bedroom home in Clifton, New Jersey. “He is not supporting us whatsoever. He’s cut us off completely. My friends are paying our bills.”

For his part, Adler denied that he’s breaking his marriage vows or shunning his religion. "I’m going through a separation and possibly a divorce."

In a Manhattan Supreme Court filing, Wonwoo Chang, the owner of 189 E. Seventh St. between Avenue B and Avenue C, claimed that Adler, who signed a two-year lease here on April 1, has hosted "lewd" parties where "on premises sex took place."

Neighbors have also accused Adler of constantly parking his luxury cars in front of a fire hydrant on the block.

Adler admitted to the Post that he parks in front of the hydrant: If I pay the fees [fines], why is it anybody’s problem?"

The Post reports that the current tenant of 189 E. Seventh St., a recently renovated four-story townhouse between Avenue B and Avenue C, has played host to sex parties in recent months, according to claims by the landlord in a Manhattan Supreme Court filing.

Tenant Avraham Adler reportedly signed a two-year lease here on April 1. Within a month, property owner Wonwoo Chang alleges that Adler started hosting "lewd" parties where “on premises sex took place.”

To the Post:

An investigator for Chang scoped out one of Adler’s August events and found a bouncer at the door, a bar on the rooftop and naked partygoers throughout the home, the landlord claims in his filing.

On the first floor, he noted, “a naked man who sat on a swing was being spanked by two women clad in lingerie.”

Another area featured mattresses on the floor and two naked women sitting on a couch, Wang said.

Sangria was going for $8 a cup, while the marijuana cookies were $15.

And...

The parties have resulted in multiple complaints from neighbors about the noise, visits from cops and violations for garbage piled up outside, said Chang, who alleges that Adler’s illicit use of the property could damage Chang’s reputation and that of the building.

An event scheduled for Saturday night apparently didn't take place as advertised — at the orders of a Manhattan Supreme Court judge.

The Eventbrite posting described the address as "THE MOST LUXURIOUS PLAYSPACE IN THE CITY FOR NAUGHTY!"



In an email to the Post, Adler denied the allegations, writing: "Not sure what you’re trying to gain from this nonsense. I just don’t get this whole thing no parties are going on."

Court papers also claim that Adler illegally parks his car at a hydrant.

This townhouse had been on the market for several years. At last look in December 2014, the asking price was $3.75 million. That listing noted:

This townhouse is the lowest price townhouse in East Village and requires TLC. Renovated townhouses in East Village sell between $5.5- $7.0 million dollars so there is an opportunity to make millions on this property.

However, it appears that the building never found a buyer, per property records.

As you can see, workers have gone the hardcore TLC route, stripping the now open-air building down to the bricks...

The asking price was $3.2 million in 2008. It looks as if it sold in 2011 for $3.3 million, per Streeteasy. Apparently the seller didn't see the potential to make millions off the home. Apparently the home never sold in 2011.
