Are you ready to Puff & Pass?

Another week, another incoming smoke shop. 

Signage went up on Saturday (H/T Steven!) for Puff & Pass at 50 Second Ave. adjacent to Proto Pizza at Third Street.

Puff & Pass joins other new like-minded businesses in the East Village, including Smokers Zone 1, Manhattan Smoke Shop, Higher Empire, Paint Puff 'N' Peace, Smart Smokers and Bong World. 

No. 50 was previously home to Cloud99 Vapes, which closed in early 2020. 

Another smoke shop for 14th Street

A new smoke shop recently opened (maybe 6 weeks ago?) at 329 E. 14th St. between First Avenue and Second Avenue.

The signage for K & H Convenience was only installed last week (thanks Pinch!) ... the shop has the usual items popping up at like-minded businesses around the neighborhood — hookah, vapes, snacks, soda, etc.

These are all things you can find directly across 14th Street at the Ali Baba Smoke Shop...

... or a few storefronts to the west at newish The Tree Shop NYC...

Interesting to see how these shops have evolved... the signage for PJ's Grocery, a block to the west on 14th Street, still touts Sports Cards, Comic Cards, Phone Cards and Cigars...

A sweet-and-sour new business for 2nd Avenue

The signage for the next tenant at 73 Second Ave. has arrived — Sweet & Sour Smoke Shop.

SSSS (short for Sweet & Sour Smoke Shop!) takes over the space from the longstanding Clairvoyant Psychic, which shuttered back in the fall as they likely expected. 

The new business at least breaks up the row of empty storefronts on this block between Fourth Street and Fifth Street.
