Aiko's finished product on Houston and the Bowery

Just realized that I never posted a shot of Aiko's completed mural on the Houston/Bowery wall...

...and using the annoying "pop art" setting on the camera...

...and on the Bowery side from last week...

Previously.

Don't feel bad, Grieve. It's so underwhelming everyone forgot about it. Still better than Shepard Fairey though.

I was prepared to hate it but I like it!
It's fun and full of energy.

@VH I wasn't sure if I was going to like it either but we know better than to judge a piece before it's complete. Last minute details can make all the difference.

I like the feminine vibe it gives off. A huge improvement over the red, white and blue Prince symbol mess that came before it.

I didn't forget about it! I think it's whimsical, has that quirky Japanese edge and is competently executed. If I had the money, I would have Aiko beautify my walls and ceilings...alas.

Agree with all. Great fresh take on pop and my favorite thing on the wall in awhile.
