EVG contributor Stacie Joy took these photos yesterday on the northeast corner of Clinton and Delancey, where the first outpost is set to debut soon...
The shop features a to-go window offering up a variety of soft serve, milkshakes, sundaes and Italian ice...
There is also a Lucky Star in the works for 34 St. Mark's Place, the former Kyber Pass space between Second Avenue and Third Avenue, and the Two Bridges neighborhood.
Trigger, the longtime owner of the live music venue/bar the Continental (1991-2018) on Third Avenue at St. Mark's Place, is behind this new venture.

Sounded awesome until I heard it's tied to Continental and imagined what earing food from Continental would be like... Will still try it though!
It's literally Trigger
Peanut butter crunch ice cream sundae - yeah, I'm there.
Yeah but soft-serve isn't ice cream though. It's a 1950's-style soft-serve spot.
I'd like to see a vegan, gluten free flavoured crushed ice added to this menu! All the other products will have to moooooooooooove over when delicious vegan shaved ice parfaits are added! Your welcome.
Nothing says vegan like the 1950's! :-)
But do they have root beer floats?
Maybe Madonna will attend the opening and belt out her classic Lucky Star!!!!!!!

My advice - plea - is they follow the Gelato Lab policy: NO FUCKING SAMPLING.
Amazing new add to the community with a retro vibe! Local founder who ran a bar at the “entrance” of the East Village for years and still apparently not enough for everyone here
