Tomorrow (Friday!) evening,
Village Works is hosting a group show featuring 1980s East Village photography as seen through the cameras of
Daniel Root,
Brian Rose,
Wyatt Abernathy,
Ross Bennett Lewis and
Peter Bennett. (We featured Peter's photos
here.)
The opening starts at 7 p.m., and the work is expected to be up for a week.
Village Works is at 12 St. Mark's Place between Second Avenue and Third Avenue.

Trivia: Village Works is also the storefront the Saint Marks Bookshop was in for a long time. (I think it was its second location.) I bought a lot of books in that space in the 80's.
