Tragedy.
I saw this on my morning walk.
Terrible news. Rest in peace.
I think I know the man who died 😪 He walked very bent over and he had a small dog
grateful to FDNY and their quick action <3 We were able to get back into the building about an hour ago.
RIP Robert. Were told his sweet dog Bella was resuscitated and taken to the vet by another neighbor.
I used to live nearby. Can you tell us anything more about Robert’s life?
He was a great guy and lived in the building for years. I’m so glad I got to talk to him recently. He will be greatly missed
Im a close friend and neighbor of the deceased,Sarah can you call me its Shane from down the block. I cant believe Bobby is gone.
Yes that was him
Saw this on my way home from the store. FDNY had a great response, but it appeared smoke did rise through other apartments; I saw a man come down from the top via the fire escape. Sad news about the man lost : (
Hello,
Hoping to raise a few dollars to keep Bella Alive, she is not doing well and may have to be put down without continued medical care. Her lungs were hurt by the smoke inhalation. Please see go fund me below:
