In order for him to make that turn at what is St. Marks & 3rd Ave. he would have to have been going the wrong way on a one-way street (St. Marks). Just another example of how you take your life in your hands when you try to use the sidewalks to WALK.

St Marks Pl needs to be pedestrianized

St Marks between 2nd and 3rd should be sealed off from cars and bikes and it would be one of the most lively blocks in the city.

So the concept would be just pedestrians on St. Marks - no vehicles and no bicycles?
What about the M8 bus?
