Amazing photo. I see Cooper's hawks and, on occasion, Redtail hawks in my E 6th St back yard on a regular basis. I've only seen a Kestrel once. They are quicker and more elusive, which makes them a rarity for me.

Random happy bird fact: Kestrels are in decline everywhere except NYC where they are increasing!
