Put into 'Practice'

 

The L.A.-based trio Julie sees the release of its debut record, My Anti-Aircraft Friend, on Sept. 13.

Ahead of that, the band released this single-video for "Clairbourne Practice" that showcases its take on experimental dream pop. 

Julie plays Webster Hall on Oct. 22... unfortunately, this is not one of the shows with locals Hello Mary on the bill.

'Hold' on

Death Valley Girls have a new record, Under the Spell of Joy, out on Oct. 2. Ahead of that, here's a single from the release titled "Hold My Hand."

The Birmingham UK-based Cherry Pickles have a new LP out this fall on PNKSLM Recordings ... this video is for the first single "Out Of This World," which sounds like another lo-fi retro contender for a show at the Roadhouse.

Dehd, the Chicago-based indie-rock trio, just released a new record titled Flower of Devotion.

Montreal's Freak Heat Waves have a new record out in September... this is a single from that release called "Dripping Visions."

'You ain't seen no one like me since Lauryn Hill back in the '90s'

London-based rapper Simbi Ajikawo, aka Little Simz, surprised fans with a new EP (part of her ongoing early-career Drop series) last month, recorded while she was on lockdown during the COVID-19 crisis ... the audio track here is for "Might Bang, Might Not."

British post-punk band IDLES released a new single last week ahead of rumored new full-length record.

Your very own Oh Sees concert
