News about the East Village of NYC
it's too bad they can no longer use the empty playground, which was once a thriving weekend flea market. the playground has been sold by the church for the development if luxury housing.
Thanks for the comment, showard. It is a shame the playground is no longer in use for the flea market -- or for the schoolkids, of course.
I thought it was NYU who bought the church, and the adjoining lot.
Wouldn't surprise me, Jill. The buyer was never disclosed.
well, the damn has been sitting there empty for a while now..I loved that flea market..shame its gone..
the damn lot i meant..
