Volunteers erected a stage in El Jardin del Paraiso (East 4th Street between C and D) this week for the year-end show by East Village Dance Project. Seventy kids will dance here tomorrow and Sunday at 5 p.m. More details here.

Very disappointed with Russ & Daughters Cafe. They are overpriced and cater to the moneyed. Had I known that it was going to be like this I would have opposed their full liquor license. You know it's in an over saturated area at a location that wasn't licensed. Residents gave them the benefit of the doubt out of respect. They said it was going to be a regular place for locals. What a shame.Some interesting yelp reviews that call them out.
