City removing the Trump-related 'Business As Usual' sculpture from 10th and B
A city worker this morning was attempting to remove the sculpture that arrived on 10th Street at Avenue B back on July 3.
EVG reader Alexa shared these photos...
The sculpture figure, titled "Business As Usual," is carrying a presidential briefcase...
[Photo by Vinny & O from July 4]
This (coincidentally?) marks the second piece of Trump-related art that the city has removed in the past 24 hours from East Village streets/sidewalks.

Good. That duche bag doesn't belong in our community, even if its art or a form of revolt. F him!
meanwhile, there's been a hazardous derelict bike frame locked up to the park fence on the same block, just west of the entrance to the basketball court FOREVER. maybe they meant to remove that, but took away this beautiful art instead.
From the Supreme Court to Russia to this .... everyday now the Resistance loses more ground, I am so sick of it! And now Blumpf has our supposedly socialist NYC mayor helping him!?? When are we going to organize and get serious and really fight back and take back our democracy?
i'm kind of partial to the hazardous derelict bike frame. it has been there for an eternity that's true. best, jg
Comrade trump
Oh nyet!
I’m happy to live in a neighborhood where art like this is “installed” even if just temporarily. In fact it’s removal by the government makes me like it even more.
I’m happy I was able to visit this statue before it was removed. I had tried unsuccessfully numerous times to photo my miniature Dachshunds pissing on it.
