The plywood along
the demolished storefronts at 250 E. Houston St. has become a wheatepaste hotspot in recent months...
Now, the property managers here between Avenue A and Avenue B have unveiled their line of wheatpaste defense ... thanks to Salim for these shots...
So far, the green guards are
almost 100% effective...
As we first reported,
a six-story residential building is in the works for the lot.

Oh, excuse us, their site is too good for wheat paste?! They are in the WRONG CITY!
A simple POST NO BILLS should suffice, no?
Do landlords get fined if bills are up or something? The ads look better than ugly green paint!
This arrangement of 2 x 4s will not defeat the wheat paste guerillas. To be effective the 2 x 4s need to be cut into much smaller lengths and then spaced 2 ft off center in offset rows not unlike a brick work pattern. Personally I prefer the wheat paste ads over a elongated, boring green wall.
Long live wheatpaste
