The Dunkin'-Baskin-Robbins combo on the NE corner of First Avenue and Sixth Street has closed.
Yesterday was the last day in business. The closure notice on the door directs patrons to other local Dunkin' outposts.
The closure isn't a surprise, as the storefront appeared in a for-rent listing in April 2024. A tipster initially told us the Dunkin' was closing this past Dec. 31.

Sorry to see them go. Hard to compete with all the boutique coffee places and upscale pastry shops in the neighborhood. Me, sometimes only a Dunkin' would do.
Sometimes you need the D&D coffee fix. Their coffee is a little lighter than what you get in fancy coffee shops. McDonald’s next door is an option for cheap coffee too but it just doesn’t taste the same.
wow, where are the cops from the 9th gonna get their donuts now?
This is the fourth Dunkin to close in the EV. When they eliminated their seating, foot traffic dropped significantly. Ditto for the coffee shop that closed on Avenue A between 4th and 5th streets.
I prefer Donut Pub on Broadway
