About the annual Garden Party Fundraiser at El Sol Brillante on 12th Street

El Sol Brillante's annual Garden Party Fundraiser takes place tomorrow (Saturday!) at 522 E. 12th St. between Avenue A and Avenue B. 

The all-day neighborhood celebration will include live music, food and drinks donated by local businesses and volunteers, and craft stations for all ages. 

The event is free and open to the public, offering food (a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options) and drinks for a suggested donation. Garden T-shirts will be available for purchase. (Guests may also buy an unlimited food and drink option, which includes $5 off one T-shirt. Details here.) 

All proceeds support the garden and its community programs.

There are a lot of free activities today in East Village community gardens

As a reminder (and now that the sun has returned), the 12th annual LUNGS Harvest Arts Festival is underway, featuring free activities at dozens of East Village/LES community gardens.

Meanwhile, the fall fundraiser for El Sol Brillante is TODAY (Sunday, Oct. 1) from "noon to moon" at the community garden on 12th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B... and rescheduled from yesterday — same times for the live music...

A pop-up thrift market today at El Sol Brillante

There's a pop-up thrift market today (Saturday, Oct. 29) at El Sol Brillante on 12th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B. 

You can find vendors selling clothing and assorted housewares from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is a plant sale as well (plus live DJs).

A spring BBQ fundraiser for El Sol Brillante Community Garden tomorrow

The folks at El Sol Brillante are hosting a Spring BBQ fundraiser tomorrow (Saturday, May 21) at the community garden on 12th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B. 

Per the EVG inbox: "The event promises refreshing drinks, vegetarian food and T-shirts for sale ..." Plants too! From noon to moon (8 p.m.!).

El Sol Brillante Community Garden on 12th Street between Avenue A and Avenue B is hosting their Summer Benefit this Saturday, June 9, from noon to moon. There will be live music, food (BBQ!), refreshments, tie-dye for kids (and adults!).

Admission is free and everyone is welcome. All proceeds from food/refreshments/tie-dye go directly to the garden for fence repair and general maintenance.
