Hollywood returning to Tompkins Square Park (for just a mere 18 hours or so)

Maybe we'll all get to hobnob with David Duchovny, star of Californication!
Sure, sure! Just hope the crew lets people into Ray's.

Why the East Village will be a mess tonight and tomorrow.

David Duchovny is about as talented as .... an untalented person.

This new X Files flick will flop. They should hav egiven the money they spent on that dog to habitat for humanity.

Oh, is Ray still there? That used to be THE place for iced coffee.
Again, been enjoying your posts. Lived at 151 Ave A in '85.

Californication, indeed. EV is being Californified.

Thanks for the comments.

Hey Mike -- Ray is still holding on. Bob Arihood does a great job of chronicling what's going on there -- http://neithermorenorless.blogspot.com/

Meanwhile, anyone remember David D's star turn opposite Brad Pitt in Kalifornia from 1993?

Kalifornia was when Brad Pitt was actually good. Meet Joe Black marked his downfall.

I'm with you, anonymous. I still have nightmares about Joe Black.

Brad Pitt was good? (ever?)

Sure. He was good in Thelma and Lousie and True Romance and those movies where he died. A River Runs Through It and Legends of the Fall.
