In search of cheesy (ballsy?) Super Bowl promos

I understand that NBC has a big Bruce Springsteen informercial planned for this evening. To coincide with the release of his new record, the Super Bowl will also be played before and after a Springsteen mini-concert.

Meanwhile, for no good reason, I was amusing myself by trying to find the cheesiest Super Bowl party special...So far, the leading contender is...




And has anyone ever been to Whistlin' Dixie's Texas Tavern? (WARNING: If you click on their link, expect to hear some Kenny Rogers...) It's at West 51th Street and 11th Avenue. See you there!

Yeah, Bruce has got his SuperBore informercial going, but his backpedaling on exclusively releasing his new greatest hits record to Walmart is an exercise in bad PR. Kinda tuff to be "The Boss" when yer in bed with the evil empire......
Still, who could pass up unlimited wings and draft for 30 bones...WOOHOO!!!!

Man, I missed this post. Would have gone. How can one passed up on the all female staff, regardless of Kenny Rogers tunes?

And imagine had it snowed!? Cars parked around the Whistlin' Dixie would have been full of snow penii.
