Closings: Milk Burger on Houston

Photos by Stacie Joy

A year-end closure to note: The Milk Burger outpost has shut down at 321 E. Houston St. between Attorney and Ridge... no official word on what was behind this closure...
The burger joint arrived in July 2022, and the Bronx outpost of the brand launched in 2011 remains in service.

El Maguey y La Tuna closed here in 2018 after the landlord reportedly doubled the rent.

Photos by Stacie Joy

The Milk Burger outpost is in soft-open mode at 321 E. Houston St. between Attorney and Ridge. (Arrival first mentioned here.)
EVG contributor Stacie Joy spoke with owner Erik Mayor (below), who said they'll be in soft-opening status for the next two weeks. He is currently training staff. He also mentioned the warm welcome he's received from the neighborhood so far...
The brand, which launched in 2011, also has a location in the Bronx.

You can find the menu with various burgers, wings, fries and shakes here. The posted hours of operation are noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday, with a 7 p.m. close on Sunday.

Milk Burger signage arrives on Houston

The Milk Burger signage has arrived at 321 E. Houston St. between Attorney and Ridge. (Thanks Stacie Joy for the pic!)

The quick-serve burger joint with an outpost in the Bronx was OK'd for a liquor license here back in February

You can check out their menu (burgers! fries! milkshakes!) right here

No word on an opening date just yet. Owner Erik Mayor was hiring as of early May.

El Maguey y La Tuna closed here in 2018 after the landlord reportedly doubled the rent.
