Fuck Yeah Depeche!
That's what I'm talkin' about.

In other mournin' edition, will you be at Belmont this Saturday?

Yes, I'll be at the Belmont. I've organized an ENORMOUS scavenger hunt. A few of the things people need to find will be on the track during a race, so...

Er, no.... Won't be there this year... Will watch from the comfort of some hellhole somewhere. How about you?

Maybe, before MTA cuts off service there too. If not, will probably watch it at some swanky hotel bar and root for that beeyoch Rachel Alexandra.

Yeah, I went to Smith's about two weeks ago and couldn't believe the interior makeover. I miss the seedy old place.

Another great old bar that recently had its interior made of (to ill effect) is the Emerland Inn on Spring Street. This was the bar that served as "The Terminal Bar" in Scorsese's "After Hours" (my fave film of all time). Now it looks like a shitty lounge inside. Bleccch.
