As you can see here, Chico and company are on the scene at the former Nice Guy Eddie's space on Avenue A ... at once painting over the Kiss mural on the East First Street wall and creating a new (temporary) Kiss mural for the plywood on the incoming new restaurant...

How do we feel about the Kiss mural outside Nice Guy Eddie's?

I love the old mural. The new one looks a little too big. I really don't need to see Gene Simmons tongue every time I walk by.
Can't gene dimmons just sue the snot out of chico and be done with it?
With all due respect to Chico and -- for that matter -- KISS themselves, they've never had anything to do with the East Village:

Chico: East Village Minister of Culture.
Is this something we need re-created? The original became sort of an icon despite itself.
There are plenty of other walls to fill with mediocre 'art' by Chico. I was sort of happy that the Kiss wall was going byebye. I've always disliked it since it first went up.
