On that list: Little Poland.
The diner, which opened in 1985 at 200 Second Ave. between 12th Street and 13th Street, remains dark.
However, in a hopeful sign, the diner's Instagram account posted a New Year's wish... with a note saying: "We ... hope we get to see all your beautiful faces soon!"
In a previous Instagram post from this past November, Little Poland left a comment saying they would likely reopen that month when there was talk that indoor dining capacity would increase to 50 percent. That obviously never happened.

Praying daily to see this place throw open its doors again. I've bowed to the inevitable on Muzzarella, but I can't lose both!
It's just a trend happening in the LES and the rest of Manhattan. Businesses are unsustainable when they're forced to either close or do less than the minimum to maintain overhead.
It's not inevitable! The federal government has chosen not to provide adequate support for small businesses and individual people alike. So much of this suffering was unnecessary and engineered by a kleptocratic incompetent federal government.
Most states don't have these restrictions. That's why the feds aren't involved. Do people here understand that? This isn't a national issue. Blame Cuomo.
I'm saying a little prayer (lighting a little candle?) for Little Poland. With Odessa gone, they're officially my favorite diner in the area now. And that kielbasa.... Please Come Back Soon!!
