G's Cheesesteaks officially opened yesterday at 6 Avenue B on the NW corner of Houston. (It was first mentioned here.)
The storefront (and upstairs floors) have undergone extensive renovations recently. This is the first retail tenant in 15 years in the long-empty building that the new landlords call The B.

Great new place to eat between drinks and seeing rock bands at nearby Parkside Lounge!
Points for the half-sandwiches (not all of us can get around a whole one), but add broccoli rabe to the toppings you can add, please!
