Morning view from Ninth Street and Stuyvesant... High of 80 (!!) today with a mix of sun and clouds and the
possibility of a passing shower, though likely not. There's also an 80% chance of being annoyed by large groups of people having brunch outdoors.

HA!! Thanks for the morning laugh, Grieve.
And when will NYU/Cooper Union clean up the TRASH that the East Village "revelers" aka inconsiderate & self-absorbed pigs toss into The George Hecht Viewing Garden (it's official name). Unlike the triangle on 3rd Ave., which is under the aegis of the Parks Dept., this "garden" is the responsibility of NYU/Cooper Union. And they know it but don't seem to give a sh!t!
They do a pretty good job of keeping this park clean. They even changed some of their gardening protocols - not leaving huge piles of Honeysuckle trimmings on the sidewalk - after Violet, my Italian Greyhound, stepped into it and was stung by a bee and later died.
Oh, how terrible! I'm so sorry that happened to poor Violet!
