The line about 10:30 for the Lady Gaga book signing

Wraps around the block onto Stanton Street...

Find out here why they're waiting in line.

Waiting for Gaga

Perhaps you saw this over at BoweryBoogie, The Lo-Down or Gothamist... Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson will be signing copies of their new photo book "LADY GAGA x TERRY RICHARDSON" at the New Museum on the Bowery. On Nov. 22 from 6-9 p.m.

But!

To be eligible for the Gagapalooza, you need to pre-order the $50 book in person starting tomorrow at the New Museum Store...

And despite the sign out front...

... a few fans/autograph collectors/curiosity seekers are already in something of a line...

There is already a 90 percent chance of a shitshow forecast here tomorrow morning.

Your chance to ride the Lady Gaga train

I read somewhere (not sure where exactly) that Lady Gaga ads were now adorning subway cars... Thanks to EV Grieve reader Tony for these shots of the S train in Times Square...

Anderson Cooper interviews Lady Gaga on Stanton Street; police called

Exciting international news developing now on Stanton Street ... CNN's Anderson Cooper with camera crew is interviewing former LES resident Lady Gaga. And our very own Cat Sitter in the City is on the scene. She filed a live report ... Lady Gaga is showing Anderson her old stomping grounds at 176 Stanton... it appears that they enter the building for a tour... afterwards, the pair walk toward Clinton Street, where a police car pulls up. Lady Gaga says hello, etc. They move on. Then! The police car pulls in front of 176 Stanton, where someone who could be the super emerges and starts screaming and gesturing. Basically, he's pe-od that Lady Gaga got into the building... Minutes later, the super is still screaming.

One other note. "She was not dressed properly for the weather," Cat Sitter reports. "But she's Lady Gaga." So, no sleeves, stockings, that kind of thing.

Sorry, wrong number

The Graffiti Friend of EV Grieve (GFOEVG) inexplicably passed along photos from Lady GaGa's new video. And I inexplicably posted one.

Lady Gaga is on the cover of Rolling Stone's annual Hot List

In the cover interview the GaGaster admits that she's been disappointed by her boyfriends' reaction to the fact that she's sexually attracted to women. "The fact that I'm into women, they're all intimidated by it," she says. "It makes them uncomfortable. They're like, 'I don't need to have a threesome. I'm happy with just you.'"

Bonus excerpt!:

Lady Gaga's devotion to being a star drove her to order bags of cocaine and spend hours perfecting her hair and makeup in a tiny Lower East Side apartment after she dropped out of NYU several years ago — well before she was actually famous. "It was quite sick," she admits.
