Me too, Je t'aime breathless. This picture used to be my avatar at Gawker before I was "executed" for an inoffensive and innocuous comment. Nonetheless, I've been going to the French crime wave film fest at Film Forum (before this theatre gets torn down to make way for another pharmacy or bank or god forbid another glass condo or a bar); am definitely going to see this one tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up about this. Another reason why I love staying in the city over holiday weekends, besides the obvious one of not as many yunnies clogging the sidewalks.
You're welcome, Stuytown...Mrs Grieve and I did made the mistake yesterday of swinging by MoMa. Lordy. The phrase "mob scene" comes to mind. At least the crowds seemed to be contained to the Dali exhibit, which ends Sept. 15. Other areas were more tolerable and tourist free.

We love tips
Have a story idea or tip about something happening in the East Village? Or maybe a photo? Or several photos? Or video! We'd love to hear about it. Or see it. Or something. Please go here to submit a tip.
By the way
Here, you'll find things that you may or may not be interested in about the East Village and other parts of New York City. Appreciating what's here while it's still here. Remembering what's no longer here. Wishing some things weren't here that are here.

I love the movie Breathless--one of my all time favorites-
Jean Seberg and John Paul Belmondo-

Thanks for the comments...And I love the Film Forum making this a bargain 2-for-1 deal with Band of Outsiders...
